Day 26, Of ‘A Photo A Day For 30 Days’ Challenge.

This is a picture of my garden box in our backyard. It’s an experiment of sorts. I’ve been reading books about bees and microbes and seeds and soil and no till farming. So this is my best attempt at implementing those ideas. I want to turn the lifeless dirt I got with plastic bag pieces in it into soil that is full of life. There’s crimson clover and mustard seed plants and strawberries with the biggest leaves I’ve ever seen on a strawberry plant and vetch and garlic underneath. The local bees are particularly fond of the yellow flowers. The ladybugs seem less picky. I’m not sure where it’s going but it is alive and that makes me happy.
