This was a really good article. Lots of authors write about patriarchy and traditional societies and the changes (good and bad) that agriculture as brought us. But I have not seen someone tie them together like this before, which is obvious and yet rarely said. I like the way you ended it talking about collaboration and community, pleasure and partnership — all things underrepresented in the world today.
